Obituary

A. Wyatt Firth, 81, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Blue Hills Alzheimer’s Care Center after a long period of declining health.

Born in Troy, New York, Wyatt grew up and received his education in Schenectady, where he graduated from Schenectady schools before attending Paul Smith’s College. He also served in the United States Army.

Wyatt spent many years living in Easton, having also resided in Wrentham and the Lake George, New York, area. Throughout his career, he served as a Food Service Director at several area hospitals, including Quincy Hospital, Goddard Hospital in Stoughton, and Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. Later in his career, he worked for several years as a CNA with Brightstar Care Agency.

A lover of music, Wyatt owned and operated a karaoke business for several years while living in Lake George. He also enjoyed boating on the lake, reading spiritual books, and cheering on his beloved New England Patriots.

Wyatt leaves behind his children, Nancy E. Connelly and her husband, Brendon M., of Franklin, and Michael W. Firth and his wife, Brenda P., of Bridgewater. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Christina and Kaitlyn Connelly and Sarah and Sean Firth. He is also survived by his two sisters, Judith Haggett and Lonnie Lawrence.

Wyatt will be remembered for the life he lived, the experiences he enjoyed, and the family who loved him.
