Albert Paul Kinan, age 85, passed away at his residence on March 30, 2022. He was born in Boston in 1936. He was the devoted husband to his wife Janet (Armstrong) Kinan for 61 loving years. He spent his childhood in the south end of Boston where he attended school and graduated from Boston Trade High. He also attended Berklee School of Music. Al enjoyed singing and had a beautiful voice. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service starting at the South Postal, the JFK office and retiring from the Brockton Post Office in 1998. Al was also a member of A.P.W.U. He owned cottages in Old Orchard Beach, Maine where he and his family enjoyed vacationing in the summer. He and Janet loved to travel to Las Vegas and many different islands each year. In addition to his wife, Janet, he is also survived by his children, Albert J. Kinan of Biddeford, Maine, Vicki M. Kinan of Stoughton, Cheryl Laurie and Joelle Kinan of Stoughton. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Justin, Julie, Matthew, Jami and Sophia, and his great-granddaughter Harley, whom he loved all very dearly. He was the brother to Edmund Kinan and his wife Lucy of Plymouth, Nancy Purland of Georgia, Norman Kinan and his wife Irene of Brockton, Marlene Petrakis of New Hampshire, Douglas of Boston and John and William both of Attleboro. He was predeceased by his siblings Bobby, Joseph and Phillip Kinan. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street, (Rt.27), Stoughton, MA at a later date to be determined. A celebration of his life will also be held at a later date. Interment will take place in Saco, Maine at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
