Alexander Tingus

Alexander Tingus, 55, died Monday, October 6, 2025 at his home in Canton. Born in Boston, son of the late George C. Tingus and Ellen Sue Stein, he was raised in Stoughton and Canton and was a graduate of Canton High School. Alex was a resident of Canton for many years. Alex worked in the construction business in the area for several years. He was also passionate about working out and owned health and nutrition stores over the years. Alex had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed automobiles and riding his motorcycle. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his friends.

Alex is survived by his sister Jennifer Quinn and her son Keith Tingus of Bridgewater and many friends.

Graveside services will be held in the Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave, Boston, MA on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 1:30 PM. Donations in Alex’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
