Amy Lynn Barbato, age 56, passed away in Maryland unexpectedly after complications with a blood clot on July 30, 2025. Born in Stoughton, she was the daughter of Alfonse Barbato and the late Terry Barbato. After being a longtime resident of Stoughton, she moved to Grand Rivers and Louisville, Kentucky, where she resided for 15 years with her long-timefriend Heather Sitte. She was an avid reader, enjoyed writing, drawing, painting, playing bingo and gardening.

In addition to her father Al, Amy is survived by Samantha Lyons of Stoughton, Brianna Lyons of Texas, and Christopher Ford Jr. of Kentucky. She was the sister to Edward A. Barbato and his wife Phyllis of Middleboro and David A. Barbato and his wife Susan of Stoughton. She also leaves behind nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street, Stoughton on Monday, September 15th from 4-6 PM, followed by Funeral Prayers at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Amy’s memory may be made to The Asher House at www.theasherhouse.com
