Andrzej Korzekwa

Andrzej Korzekwa, 52, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, after a long period of declining health.  He was the husband of Elizabeth “Ela” (Kruczynski) Korzekwa of Stoughton and the father to his twin children Klaudia and Sebastian Korzekwa of Stoughton. Son of the late Mieczyslaw and Marianna (Sokolowska) Korzekwa, he was born and raised in Elk, Poland and came to the United States in 1989 and settled in Dorchester. He later moved to Stoughton to raise his family and earned his US Citizenship soon after his arrival. Andrzej worked as a carpenter and builder for Tony’s Fence in Hyde Park for many years. He enjoyed building and woodworking and was a gifted woodworker. Andrzej loved his homeland of Poland, and would keep in touch with his family, friends and Polish news everyday. Andrzej enjoyed watching his favorite sports volleyball, baseball, hockey, and football. Not a game went unwatched. In addition, he liked to think he was a super chef, making his own kielbasa in a smoker, constantly looking for new recipes to surprise the family and even fermenting his own kombucha. In his free time, he loved spending time with his family and his friends.  Also, never mind how much Amazon shopping he did! We all miss you so much. 

 In addition to his wife, Elizabeth, and his children, Klaudia and Sebastian, he is survived by his four older sisters Barbara Cimochowska, Bozena Godlewska, Malgorzata Leonczuk, and Katarzyna Karbowska, all of Poland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

 Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 10-11AM with Funeral Prayers at 11AM.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.  Donations in his memory may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
