Ann Marie (Roach) Ledin

Ann Marie (Roach) Ledin, age 79, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at her residence in Easton.  She was the wife of Lawrence C. Ledin (retired Captain, Stoughton Fire Department) for 60 loving years.  Born in Lewiston, Maine, she was the daughter to the late Anna M. (Batte) and William P. Roach.  She was raised in Sharon before moving to Stoughton and graduating from Stoughton High School, Class of 1962.  She resided in Stoughton for 60 years before moving to Easton 3 years ago.  Ann Marie worked for the Council on Aging in Stoughton for 10 years before working as an Administrative Assistant at Century 21 in Stoughton for 20 years.  She was a member of the Daughters of Italy in Stoughton.  She enjoyed cooking, crafting and gardening but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Larry, Ann Marie is survived by her children, L. Scott Ledin and his wife Karen of Bridgewater, Jeffrey A. Ledin (retired Stoughton Firefighter) and his wife Susan of Stoughton, Todd M. Ledin and his wife Kimberly of Duxbury and Tracy M. Solov and her husband Daniel of Easton.  She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, Ryan, Jamie, Krista, David, Ashley, Amanda, Jeffrey, Jr., Timothy, Rebecca, Cameron, Matthew, and Amy, and 8 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, Chief.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park Street, (Rt. 27), Stoughton, on Friday, March 17 at 10:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, South Easton at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday, March 16 from 4-7 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann Marie’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
