Antoinette S. "Toni" Wood

Antoinette S. “Toni” (Minchino) Wood, 86, died Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the Alliance HealthCare Center at West Acres in Brockton, after a period of declining health. Born in Boston, she was raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton Schools. Toni was a resident of Stoughton for over 40 years. She worked as a cook at Weekes Rest Home in Stoughton for many years and later worked as a self-employed house cleaner. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother who enjoyed playing bingo and, in her younger days, enjoyed dancing. Toni enjoyed watching the Lifetime channel and loved making Italian food for her family and friends.

Toni was the mother of Patti Wood of Avon, Denise Large and her husband Joseph of IA and the late Herbert “Chuck” MacFaun and Adrienne Wood. She was the Nana to 8 grandchildren and Mimi to 10 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Natalie Taylor of Taunton, Michael Minichino of Norwood and the late Florence Minichino. She is also survived by several nieces and one nephew.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 9 AM-11 AM with Funeral Prayers to follow at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Toni’s memory may be made to the Home for Little Wanderers, 72 E Dedham Street, Boston, MA 02118.
