Arleen M. (Snyder) Rickard

Arleen M. (Snyder) Rickard, 86, died Friday, October 26, 2018, at the Heartland Assisted Living Center in Nokomis, FL after a period of failing health. She was the daughter of Walter Snyder and Marie (Conrad) Snyder. The loving wife of Thomas Rickard and the late Vincent Yankauckas. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Boston and Nova Scotia and was a graduate of Nursing School. Mrs. Rickard was a longtime resident of Stoughton and retired several years ago to West Yarmouth. Six years ago, she moved to Nokomis, FL with her husband. Mrs. Rickard worked as a Private Duty Nurse at the Beth Israel Medical Center for over 27 years, and as a skilled nurse at the New England Sinai Hospital retiring in 1986.

In addition to her husband, Arleen is survived by her beloved daughter Michelle Yankauckas of San Diego, CA and stepson Gordon Rickard of Maine.

Graveside Services will be held in the Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West St., Braintree, on Saturday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Omitted. Arrangements by Farley Funeral Home, Stoughton.
