Arthur Coelho, 68, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Son of the late Arthur and Maria “Lucy” (Jardim) Coelho. Arthur was the father of Andrea Coelho Woodhouse and her late husband Nicholas Woodhouse of Norfolk, VA and the grandfather of Nolan Woodhouse. He was the former husband of Elizabeth “Lily” (MacKenzie) Coelho. The brother of Joe Coelho of Florida, and his wife Isabel. A cherished uncle, Arthur will be fondly remembered by Nicholas MacKenzie II, Danielle MacKenzie-Cavanagh, Catherine Coelho, and Gina Coelho. He is also survived by his beloved aunt, Maria Zelia Coelho, of Madeira.

Arthur was looking forward to starting a new life chapter in Plymouth with his fiancé, Linda Graziano of Rockland. Arthur’s extended family and many friends will miss him greatly and treasure the memories they shared with him. Artie was well respected in his community and a favored town employee. He recently retired from the Town of Stoughton, where he worked for many years. He started his career in technology and worked for Analog devices, Northrop Grumman and SIC. He also worked closely with his brother-in-law, Nick MacKenzie, for decades at Mackenzie Plumbing in Canton. Art’s laid-back, easygoing nature put everyone he encountered at ease. He was always around to lend a helpful hand.
