Bernadette T. (Sousa) Winslet

Bernadette T. (Sousa) Winslet, 57, died peacefully at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI on Monday, January 16, 2023.  Daughter of Lidio N. Sousa of Stoughton and the late Maria J. (Teixeira) Sousa, she was born and raised in Stoughton.  She was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1984.  She resided in Attleboro for the past 15 years.  Bernadette worked for Northrop Corporation in Norwood for over 10 years and then for Kohl’s in Seekonk for over 10 years.  She loved animals, especially her dogs and cats.  She will be remembered for her warmth, sense of humor and beautiful eyes and smile.

In addition to her father, Bernadette is survived by her longtime companion, Bryan Packard of Attleboro as well as several aunts, cousins and godchildren. 

Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, January 24 at 11 AM.  Visitation prior from 10-11 AM.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernadette‘s memory may be made to the MSPCA, MSPCA-Angell, Attn: Donations, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130.
