Brian E. Melket

Brian E. Melket, 54, died Thursday, November 12, 2020, at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Born in Boston, son of the late Robert E. and Jane (O'Keefe) Melket, he was raised and educated in Roslindale and was a graduate of Boston Latin School. Brian furthered his education by attending and graduating from Boston College. He was a longtime employee of Boston College in their Information Technology Department and later worked for Allied Universal as a Security Officer. Mr. Melket was a resident of Fitchburg for the past year. Brian was an active and dedicated member of the Toastmasters and was the Past President of the MIT Toastmasters. He was a gifted public speaker.

Brian is survived by his two brothers, Timothy F. Melket of Fitchburg and Robert W. Melket of ME.

Visiting Hours will be held in the St. John the Evangelist Church, 700 Washington St, Canton, on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 10-11AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
