Bruno Michael Black, 67, died peacefully at Boston Medical Center on Thursday, June 25, 2026. He was the husband of the late Lisa Ann (McCarthy) Black. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Milton and Janina E. (Kubis) Black. Bruno was a lifelong resident of Stoughton until moving to Brockton in 2023. He was a graduate of Stoughton High School. He was a mechanic in the area for many years before retiring at age 65. He loved fishing and was a skilled handyman and small engine mechanic.

Bruno is survived by his son, Michael J. Black of Woonsocket as well as his sister, Rita A. Tarter and her husband William of Tiverton, RI. He was the uncle of Brett and Denys Tarter.

Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, July 1 from 9-10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 11 AM. Interment will followed at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
