Candice M. Cobbs

Candice M. Cobbs, of Middleboro, died unexpectedly at Morton Hospital, Taunton, MA at age of 45 on Friday, September 2, 2022, after complications from a recent surgery. Candice was born in Bethesda, MD, and was raised and educated in Stoughton and Brockton, MA. Candice graduated from Brockton High School in 1995. After graduating high school, Candice continued her education taking classes at Massasoit Community College and graduating from Southeastern Regional Technical School evening Dental Assisting Program. Candice was employed as a Dental Assistant at Taunton Oral Health Center for over 15 years. Candice was a longtime member of Calvary Chapel Church in Rockland and was a proud member of the Nipmuc Nation, where her given Native American is name “Warm Smile”. She enjoyed beachgoing with family and friends, especially her longtime friend Tracy Bartell. Candice also loved listening to music and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Candice is survived by her daughter, Emilee M. Kahler of Middleboro and her parents, Juanita (Silva) Perry of Middleboro and James F. Cobbs Jr. of Brockton. Candice was the sister of Jeanette M. Cobbs of Brockton, Amanda J. Cobbs of Mansfield, James F. Cobbs III of Taunton, and Harrison J. Cobbs of Woburn.  She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visiting Hours will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday September 9, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 PM. Donations in Candice’s memory may be made to a GoFundMe memorial account at https://gofund.me/4f9a1f98.
