Carol A. (McLean) Johnson, age 64, passed on February 6, 2023 away after a courageous battle of cancer. Born in Boston, she was the daughter to Anne (Campbell) Mulloy and Lester McLean, and was the dear wife to Paul T. Johnson for 31 loving years. She was raised in Brookline and was a longtime resident of Stoughton. She attended St. Mary’s High School in Brookline, and went on to Simmons College and received an Associate’s Degree. She was a bank manager for many years, working at different companies such as, Shawmut Bank, Fleet Bank, and ending at Hanscom Federal Credit Union before retiring in 2022. She was a hard worker and a reliable employee, and was well liked at her job, making many friends over the years. She enjoyed traveling and watching all Boston Sports teams, especially the Patriots.
In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her children Paul Johnson, Jr. and Lauren Johnson, both of Stoughton. She is also survived by her siblings, Barbara Littlefield of Avon, Jeanne Gaudet of Prince Edward Island, Canada, Edward McLean of Stoughton, Kathleen McLaughlin of Venice, FL, Paul “Keith” McLean of Quincy, Joanne Snell of Stoughton, and was predeceased by her brother Thomas McLean, and also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Monday, February 13th from 4-7PM. A Funeral Mass will be held the next day, February 14th at St. James Church, 560 Page Street, Stoughton at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 125 S Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130.
