Carol M. (Auffrey) Manning, 84, died Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Paul R. Manning. Born and raised in Charlestown, she was a graduate of Charlestown High School. Mrs. Manning was a resident of Stoughton for over 55 years. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. While raising her children, Mrs. Manning worked as a Teacher's Aide in the Stoughton Schools and later worked as a Nanny for several area families. She and her husband Paul were active members of the Randolph Elks and was a longtime member of Elite Health and Fitness in Stoughton. Together they enjoyed Bus Tours. She was a gifted Baker, known for her Hermits and banana bread, and also enjoyed photography. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Carol was the mother of Sandra J. Petruzzo and her husband John of Marstons Mills and Dennis P. Manning of Stoughton. She was the beloved and caring Nana of Nina, Carly and Matthew Petruzzo and Jennifer and Diane Manning. Carol was the sister of Jacqueline Auffrey and her partner Sandy Bates of FL, Richard Auffrey and his wife Dottie of Melrose, Bruce Auffrey of Boston and is predeaceased by her brother Robert Auffrey. She is also survived by many friends, including the Tobin, Mondor, Petruzzo, Gallagher and Harbach Families, and Anne Good of Stoughton.

A private celebration of Carol's life will be held in the fall. Donations in her memory may be made to the Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., W. Bridgewater, MA 02379.
