Carol A. (Geronda) Melendy

Carol A. (Geronda) Melendy, 77, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at the Boston Medical Center South on Friday, February 6, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Victor C. Melendy (Stoughton Fire Department). Born in Boston, Carol was the daughter of the late Victor and Helen (Kerwin) Geronda. She was raised in Billerica and graduated from Billerica High School, Class of 1967. Carol resided in Stoughton for over 60 years. She loved being a mom to her 3 children. She was a member of the Stoughton Lions Club, where she met some of the most kind and caring friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, to whom she was affectionately known as Mimi.

Carol is survived by her children, Christopher J. Melendy and his wife Catherine of Middleboro, Lisa N. Tetrault and her husband Daniel and Keri A. Moore and her husband Dustie all of Norton as well as her grandchildren, Hannah, Leanne and Mia Melendy, Nolan and Andrew Tetrault and Greyson, Brekyn, Landon and Hudson Moore. She was the sister of Joan Tasi of Canton and Helen Anderson of Englewood, FL. Carol is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including her niece Karen Quirk with whom she shared a special bond.
