Cecelia F. Andrade

Cecelia F. Andrade, 94, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at her home in Canton. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Joseph D. and Jesuina (Mendes) Andrade, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1949. She was a resident of Canton for over 30 years. 

Cecelia was the office manager for Dr. Robert Litwin in Chestnut Hill and Roslindale, for many years, retiring several years ago. She was a longtime member of the Busy Bee’s. Celia loved international travel and had many hobbies; seamstress, upholsterer, painter, needlework, ceramics and loved to read in her free time. She was a baker and cake decorator as well, making cakes for family weddings and all the birthdays. She always loved a good story and a good laugh.

Cecelia was the sister of the late Maria Jardin, Dolores Rodrigues and Theresa Camara. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 10-11 AM followed by Funeral Prayers at 11 AM.  Donations may be made in her name at the Stoughton Historical Society, 6 Park St., Stoughton, MA 02072 or to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
