Charlene M. Morrill, 67, died Monday, September 1, 2025 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Weymouth, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a 1975 graduate of Stoughton High School. She was also a graduate of Northeastern University. Charlene was a resident of Stoughton for many years before moving to Raynham several years ago. She worked for Confluent Medical Technologies in Warwick, RI for many years as a Master Planner, a job that she thoroughly enjoyed. She was a dedicated and loving mother, aunt, daughter, and sister. In her free time, Charlene enjoyed reading, working out and participating in strength challenges and programs, including the Livestrong Program, at the Stoughton YMCA, giving gifts to loved ones, and spending time with her family and friends including her family’s weekly beer tastings and trips to wineries. Charlene also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family at Crue Brew and Regret Distillery in Raynham.
Charlene is survived by her beloved son, Charles R. Morrill and his wife Hannah (Anderson) Morrill of Denver, CO and her parents, Donald B. and Gail E. (MacKenzie) Morrill of Bridgewater, formerly of Stoughton. She was the sister of Karen Grant and her husband Kevin Grant of Avon and Donald B. Morrill and his partner Sandy Lentz of Stoughton. Charlene was the aunt of Kevin, Amanda, Matthew, Heather, Brian, and Katy Grant, Kellie (Grant) and Ed McGrath, and Heather, Kyle and Alyssa Morrill. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. James Church, 560 Page St, Stoughton on Wednesday, September 10 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Donations in Charlene’s memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund,10 Brookline Place West, 5th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226
