Charles F. Sullivan, Jr., 78, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, May 2, 2020. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Forsberg) Sullivan. Son of the late Charles F. and Helen Sullivan, he was born in Boston and educated in Stoughton Schools. He was a craftsman shoemaker at Foot Joy in Brockton for many years. Charles was a member of the Polish White Eagles Club in Brockton and a social member at the American Legion Post 89 in Stoughton.
Charles is survived by his aunt, Clare Goodell, his longtime companion, Joan Lehtonen and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Sullivan.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, private family services will be held with a burial at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Charles was an animal lover so donations in his memory may be made to the MSPCA-Angell, Attn: Donations, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130.
