Christine Pulli, 55, of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2025, at Boston Medical Center South in Brockton after a sudden illness at home.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Claire Pendergast of Randolph and the late John “Jack” Pulli. Proudly raised in Dorchester and a graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School, Christine was never one to follow the crowd. From a young age, she blazed her own trail, with grit, humor, and a refusal to be anything but unapologetically herself.
In her early years, Christine embraced the freedom of the open road, traveling the country and soaking in the experiences, places, and people that would shape her sharp wit and independent soul. Those adventures weren’t just trips, they were expressions of her fierce desire to live life on her own terms.
She made her home in Stoughton for the past 15 years, where she worked at O’Donnell Middle School and became a beloved presence among students and staff alike. Christine brought her whole self into every room she entered.
At the center of her life were her children, Bryce A. Hall of Stoughton and Siobhan A. Lutz of Rhode Island, both of whom she loved with a powerful, unwavering devotion. She parented with honesty, strength, and a deep belief in her kids’ ability to become exactly who they were meant to be. Her loyalty was unmatched, her love unconditional.
Christine had a natural magnetism and an unapologetic love for the things that lit her up. She was a lifelong fan of soap operas, true crime documentaries, and scary movies. Not just as entertainment, but as windows into the messiness, mystery, and drama of life. She relished a good story, especially the kind that pushed boundaries and made you think. Spending time with family and friends, sharing bold opinions and harder laughs, was where she came alive.
She is survived by her mother, Claire; her children, Bryce and Siobhan; her siblings, David Pulli of Dorchester, Susan Pulli of Rockport, and Benjamin N. Pulli of Natick; her lifelong friend and partner-in-rebellion, Donna MacKenzie-Dwyer of Bridgewater; and many nieces, nephews, and chosen family who were drawn to her bold spirit and big heart. She was predeceased by her brother, John Pulli.
Christine lived fiercely, loved deeply, and never apologized for who she was. Her absence leaves a silence that only someone like her could create and a legacy that reminds us to speak our minds, live with passion, and never be afraid to stand out.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, June 30, 2025 from 4-7 PM with Family Reflections at 7 PM.
