Clifton P. Barnett, Sr., 44, died Sunday, April 4, 2021, at the UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester, after a short and courageous battle with Covid 19. Born, raised, and educated in Stoughton, Clifton was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Technical High School in Easton and attended Wentworth Institute of Technology. He was a resident of Natick since 2003. Clifton was a lifelong entrepreneur, having a paper route as a youth to becoming the founder and owner of Big Daddy's Upholstery in Natick in 2001. He was a jack of all trades and a skilled handyman who was generous with his time and talents to family and friends. Clifton was a gifted grill master and baker who specialized in his smoked meats and chocolate cakes, which would be washed down with his homemade moonshine and rum punch. He enjoyed RV camping at Powderhorn Resort in Old Orchard Beach, ME every year and going to RV Shows. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Clifton is the husband of Brettany (Peterson) Barnett. Clifton was predeceased by his late father, Edwin Phillip Barnett. In addition to his wife, Clifton is survived by his children, CPL Clifton P. Barnett, Jr., USArmy of Ft. Polk, LA, and Brooke L.J. Barnett of Natick, MA. He was the son of Lorna (Armstrong) Rogers and her husband Milton Rogers of Stoughton, MA. He was the brother of Sharron P. Burrowes, Princess Rogers and Victoria Rogers, all of Stoughton, MA, Kyron Barnett and Lynnicia Barnett, of Boston, MA, Karen Barnett of the Cayman Islands, Owen Barnett of Jamaica, Tamorow Ruffin of Alabama, Phyllicia and Tynisha Raper and Alyse Bigger of Dorchester, MA. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Service will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours prior to the Services from 9-10:30 AM.
