Concetta A. (Chillemi) Vincent

Concetta A. “Connie” (Chillemi) Vincent, 89, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Sunday, August 11, 2024. She was the wife of the late John Henry Vincent. Daughter of the late Tindare and Maria (Penzabene) Chillemi, she was born in East Boston and raised in Roslindale and Hyde Park. Connie was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. She resided in Stoughton since 1975. She was an accounting clerk at John Hancock Life Insurance Company in Boston for over 15 years before retiring 27 years ago. Connie was active at the Foursquare Gospel Church in Brockton. She was a member of the Red Hat Association and the Council on Aging in Stoughton. She enjoyed reading and doing charity work, especially at My Brother’s Keeper in Easton. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Connie is survived by her children, Michael A. Vincent and his wife Sari of Rutland, VT, David W. Vincent and his partner Cathy Auclair of Dover, NH, John M. Vincent and his wife Arlene of Middleboro, Cynthia A. Carberry and her husband Joseph of Plymouth, Laura M. Ronan and her husband Rick of Tiverton, RI and Karen P. Vincent and her wife Kate of Niantic, CT. She was the sister of the late Frances Squadrito, Mary Chillemi, Josephine Casinelli and Salvatore Chillemi. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, August 15 at 10:30 AM followed by a burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15 PM. Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday from 5-7 PM.
