Daniel J. Lennon

Daniel J. Lennon, 40, of Stoughton, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2022. He leaves behind his daughter Hannah C. Lennon of Avon along with his parents Thomas Lennon and his wife Arminé of Stoughton and Joy V. (Kundrot) Scimone and her husband Mark, also of Stoughton. Dan was born in Stoughton and raised in Brockton. He attended Brockton schools, mainly the Brockton Christian School. He was a handyman and a carpenter for almost 20 years. While at the lowest point in his life, Danny received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 2015 and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Holbrook where he was baptized and then later, a regular attendee at Heritage Baptist Church in Norwood. An avid Boston sports fan, he also loved woodworking and he singlehandedly renovated the entire home that he grew up in. He would always make time for family, friends and church members in order to help them with anything that needed fixing. He was a consummate practical joker and will be very deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his daughter and parents, Daniel is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the brother of the late Thomas Lennon Jr. whom he sorely missed.

Funeral Service will be held at Heritage Baptist Church, 615 Washington St., Norwood on Tuesday, March 8 at 10AM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, March 7 from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place in the Lennon family plot at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
