David M. Crean, 72, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 19, 2020. He was the husband of the late Chintana (Sae-Ton) Crean. Son of the late Albert E. and Judith (Puljanowski) Crean, he was born in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School. David was a Specialist in the U.S. Army and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was the founder and owner of Halmark Systems in Stoughton. He was a member of the American Legion Post 89 and VFW Post 1645 both in Stoughton. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cooking, traveling, playing cards, shooting pool and working but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
David is survived by his daughter, Dawn M. Dino and her husband Jason of Stoughton and his grandson, Marshal G. Reardon. He was the brother of Abigail Lewis of Maine and the late Edwin A. Crean, Robert Crean and Judith Ann Patrick.
Visiting Hours will take place at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, July 23 from 4-7 PM. Due to the coronavirus pandemic the funeral service will be private.
