David C. Perez, 91, passed peacefully Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, after a brief illness. David was born in Boston, raised in West Roxbury and was a graduate of Boston Latin School, Class of 1954. He went on to graduate from Northeastern University. David met the love of his life while they were roller skating in Norwood. In August of 1957, he married Theresa B. Gemelli at Holy Name Church in West Roxbury and together they spent over 69 years married and raised their five beloved children.

David is survived by his wife, Theresa B. (Gemelli) Perez of Brockton, and his children, Nancy A. Bogan and her husband Kevin of NC, Stephen M. Perez and his wife Paula of Bridgewater, Susan M. FitzGerald and her husband Gregg of NC, Anne-Marie Connolly and her husband Stephen of Canton and Christopher D. Perez (Brockton Police) and his wife Cori of Middleboro. He was the loving “Papa” of Matthew Perez, Sophia Nicklas and her husband Justin, Andrew Perez, and Mary & James Connolly. David is survived by his sister, Winnie Perez of Florida and by many nieces and nephews.
