Deborah Ann Pearson

Deborah Pearson, lovingly known as Debbie and affectionately called Mimi by her grandchildren, close friends, community, and family, passed away peacefully at her home in Montego Bay, Jamaica. She was born on December 22, 1946, in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Annie Haynes. Deb’s life was a testament to faith, love, and creativity. A devoted wife, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rogere Pearson, with whom she shared many cherished years. Known as a prayer warrior, Deb’s deep faith in God guided her life. She found joy in her artistry, crafts, creating, decorating, and cooking, and was happiest when spending time with her loved ones, both in the United States and in Jamaica. Spending time with her Jamaican family, the Christies, brought her much joy at the end of her life.

Deborah is survived by her daughters Michelle Henson and her husband David, and Sherice Pearson; her granddaughters Cierrah Bridges and Dana Brown and her husband Sean with their daughters Isla and Seana; her sister Marjorie O’Reilly and her husband Patrick, their son Evan O’Reilly and his wife Vera with their children Mateo and Milo. Deb was preceded in death by her loving brother, Ronald Haynes. Deb’s warmth, wisdom, and love leave a lasting legacy for her family and all who were blessed to know her. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her artistry, her devotion to her faith, and above all, her boundless love for her family.

A celebration of Deb’s life will be held in a private service on Monday, September 29, at Farley Funeral Home in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Condolences can be sent to 16 Ardsley Street, Brockton, MA 02302. Her memory will forever be a blessing to those she leaves behind.
