Debra M. (O'Connor) Coleman

Debra M. (O’Connor) Coleman, age 71, passed away on November 30, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of John R. Coleman for 46 years. Born, raised, and educated in Brookline, she was the daughter of the late Ethel (Brothers) and Thomas O’Connor, and was a lifelong resident of Stoughton. She worked at the pharmacy at Walgreens in Stoughton for over 20 years before retiring at age 61. She enjoyed crafting, painting, and decorating, especially for Christmas, and loved hand making gifts for others. She was extremely kind and giving to her friends and family and was someone that you could always count on to be there. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband John, Debra is survived by her children Kevin Coleman and his fiancé Sarah Birtwell of Walpole, and Sean Coleman and his wife Michelle of Walpole. She was the sister to Thomas O’Connor, William O’Connor, Kristine DeLuca, Karla Winter, Edward O'Connor, and was preceded in death by her sisters Patricia McCoy and Kathleen O’Connor. She is survived by her grandchildren, Reagan, Avery, and Harper. She also leaves behind her cherished four-legged companion and best friend, Baxter, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton, on Monday December 11^th from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held at the funeral home the next day, Tuesday December 12^th at 9:15 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton at 10:30 AM.
