Diane M. (Gordon) Connors, age 80, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026. She was the beloved wife to John T. Connors for 57 years, a devoted husband. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Alan Gordon and Doris (Salant) Gordon, and was raised and educated in Sharon, graduating from Sharon High School, Class of 1963. After high school, Diane attended the Chandler College for Women in Boston earning an Associate’s Degree. Diane worked at Raytheon and various other financial industries as an administrative assistant for over 30 years, retiring in 2003. Diane’s home was never truly empty without her beloved feline friends by her side. Her most cherished time was spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband, John, Diane is survived by her children Julie B. (Connors) Hansen of Plainville, and Kerry L. Connors of Falmouth. Diane’s daughters and her grandchildren, Jack and Jessica were all her greatest joys. She was preceded in death by her loving sister Sheila Gordon, and leaves behind her surviving brother-in-law Robin Elliot. She was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law Carol (Connors) Poirier, and leaves behind her surviving brother-in-law Artie Poirier, and was the loving aunt to Janna, Caroline, Lisa, Lynne, and Chip.
Visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street, Stoughton (Rt. 27), on Thursday April 30th from 5-7 PM, with Family Reflections at 7 PM. A Graveside Service will be held the next day, Friday May 1st at 9:30 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. The family will be meeting in the parking lot to go into procession at 9:15 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s memory may be made to the Dementia Society at Dementia Society of America
