Dimitrios Tombros, 76, a longtime resident of Randolph, died peacefully at home on Thursday, July 27, 2017. He was the husband of Athanasia (Papatoniou) Tombros. Son of the late John and Julia (Taloumi) Tombros, he was born and raised in Elliniko, Arkadias, Greece. He was a resident of Randolph for 45 years. Dimitrios was the owner of Holbrook House of Pizza for over 15 years before retiring 6 years ago.
In addition to his wife, Dimitrios is survived by his sons, John Tombros and his wife Leeann of Pembroke and Hercules Tombros of Randolph, as well as his grandchildren, Zoe, Andrew, Dimitri, Sophia and Effie Tombros. He was the brother of Haralambos Tombros of Randolph and Stavroula Georganta and Toula Papavasilopoulos both of Greece. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common Street, Braintree on Saturday, July 29 from 9-10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in Dimitrios' memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
