Dolores Arnold

Dolores Arnold, 94, a resident of Fort Myers, Florida, died peacefully at the Port Charlotte Hospice House in Port Charlotte, Florida on Monday, January 8, 2024.  Daughter of the late Sidney and Alice (Martin) Arnold, she was born in Boston and raised in Stoughton.  Dolores resided in Buckfield, Maine for over 40 years before moving to Florida in 2016.  She was a horse trainer and loved animals, especially horses and dogs.

Dolores was the sister of the late Audrey A. Ryan.  She was the beloved aunt of Susan A. Laplante of Fort Myers, Florida and the late Paul R. Doody, Robert A. Doody, Kevin J. Doody, Lawrence M. Doody and Peter F. Doody.  She also leaves many great-nieces and nephews, and a very dear friend, Mary Beth Wing of Saratoga Springs, NY.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Monday, January 22 at 10:30 AM.  Interment will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Dolores‘ memory may be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
