Donald J. Spann, JR. passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2026, at the age of 59. He was preceded in death by his with Kathleen Ann Spann. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Donald and Doris Spann. Donald is survived by his beloved sons, Daniel, Joseph, Donald, and Scott Spann, and his daughter Kristen Spann-Eaton, as well as his 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Linda M. Dodge and her husband Kevin, Judith A. Daniels and her husband Edwin, Doris J. Flynn and her husband James, Wilma L. Doyle and her husband Michael, and Ima D. Gilmore and her husband Francis, David Parrett and his wife Claudia, and was preceded in death by his sister Donna M. Spann, and leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Donald’s unexpected passing leaves an empty place in the hearts of his family, but the memories they shared with him will remain. Through his children, grandchildren, sisters, and all those whose lives he touched, a part of Donald will continue on. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton, on Monday August 17th from 10-11:30 with Funeral Prayers at 11:30. Interment will follow at Mount Benedict Cemetery, 409 Corey Street, Boston, MA 02132.
