Donna M. Monterio

Donna Monterio, 71, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at her home in Stoughton. Born in Boston, daughter of the late Frank and Regina M. (Dias) Monterio, she was raised and educated in Boston and was a graduate of Boston Public Schools. Donna was a resident of Stoughton since 2006, previously living in Dorchester and West Roxbury. She worked for the Boston Housing Authority at Pascuicco Apartment Complex for many years as a Safety Officer and retired in 2014. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards, singing, playing backgammon and Yahtzee and spending time with her family and friends. 

Donna was the sister of Rose M. Miranda of Newton and the late Charlene Monterio. She was the aunt and godmother of Ronald Miranda Jr. and the aunt of Regina Miranda, the late Frank Monterio, III, Nannette Monterio, Michele "Coco" Monterio-Haron, and Nicholas David. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews and godchildren.

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 9-11 with Funeral Prayers following at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Boston.
