Eduardo Alfredo Mier Y Teran Pimentel

Eduardo Alfredo Mier y Terán Pimentel, 88, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of the Catholic Church. The beloved widower of Carmen Díaz de Mier y Terán, he is survived by his children, María Eugenia Mier y Terán and Víctor Rivero (+), Eduardo José Mier y Terán and Elena Madureri, Enrique Jorge Mier y Terán (+), Anamaría Mier y Terán and James Barron, María Gabriela Mier y Terán and Eduardo Ferreira, and Camila Mier y Terán and Esteban Dávila; and his grandchildren María Luisa Rivero and Joaquín Alvarez, Juan Ignacio Rivero and Lindsay Sullivan,Eduardo Andrés, Francisco, Santiago, and Guillermo Mier y Terán; Corina Mier y Terán and Tyler Fitzpatrick; Diego, and Isabella Mier y Terán; Brendan Barron and Andrea Pascual, Matthew Barron and Virginia Mahoney, and Patrick Barron; Cristina, Fernando, and Carlota Guruceaga; Pablo Andrés, José Miguel, and Antonio Ignacio Dávila.

The family warmly invites relatives and friends to join them in honoring his life and memory.

A visiting hour will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at St. Lawrence Church, located at 774 Boylston Street (Route 9) in Brookline, Massachusetts, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, followed immediately by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow at Holyhood Cemetery in Brookline. May he rest in peace.
