Edward Charles O'Hare

Edward Charles O'Hare, of Tiverton, RI, husband and best friend of Margaret (Buckley) O'Hare, passed away peacefully at home, comforted by Peg and his family, after a long battle with heart disease and dementia.

Born October 13, 1937 in Stoughton, MA to the late John J. O'Hare and Dorothy (Desilets) O'Hare. Husband, dad, much beloved step-dad and grandpa, Ed passed away on December 31, 2022 at the age of 85.

He developed an enduring passion for football, as a competitive player in his youth and into his twenties and then as an avid spectator. He graduated from Northeastern University in 1966 where he was a key member of the football team. He went on to have a long and successful career as a Human Resource executive. Ed was an ardent fitness enthusiast; dedicated oldies fan and he greatly loved his extended family.

True to his character, he was fun-loving and feisty to the end. He was beloved and will be sorely missed by his wife Peg.
