Edward F. Peters, 72, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Saturday, November 15, 2025 with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of the late Linda K. (Patterson) Peters. He was the son of the late Edward F. and Barbara A. (Sullivan) Peters and nephew of the late Donald Peters, who helped raise Ed and his siblings after their father’s passing. He was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1971. Ed was a truck driver for Cohenno Trucking in Stoughton for many years then was a mechanic for Boston Duck Boat Tours for 6 years. He was a member of the Milton Yacht Club. His greatest passions were boating and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Ed is survived by his children, Karen A. Brown and her husband Daryn and Edward F. Peters and his wife Brandi all of North Attleboro. He was the grandfather of Brendan Brown, Rylee Brown, Noelle David and her husband James and Edward Peters IV and great-grandfather of Savannah David. He was the brother of Jay Peters and Diane Peters both of Stoughton and Lorraine White of New Hampshire and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Friday, November 21 from 2-5 PM followed by Funeral Prayers at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s memory may be made to Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 505 8th Avenue, Suite 1402, New York, NY 10018-6588 or www.hdsa.org.
