Edwin J. Terrelonge, 95, passed away peacefully at the VA Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, December 6, 2025. He was the son of the late Arnold Rupert and Anita (Branker) Terrelonge, and the beloved husband of Marsha L. (Lall) Terrelonge, with whom he shared 37 years of marriage.
Born in Boston and raised in Roxbury, Edwin was a graduate of Boston Technical High School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Korean War, being honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant.
Edwin resided in Vineyard Haven for 23 years before moving to Sharon in 2021 and then to Weymouth in 2024. He worked for decades as a master machinist. He was also an exceptional gardener, a talented handyman, and he greatly enjoyed listening to music.
Edwin was preceded in death by his sister Dorothea, his brothers Frank and Arnold, and by his son, the late David Terrelonge. He is survived by his twin sister, Enid Rocha; his children Neal Terrelonge, Lisa Terrelonge, Dennie Butler-MacKay and Hugh MacKay, Ron Price and Rosa Carrasquilla; as well as 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Edwin will be remembered for his strength, skill, quiet warmth, and devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Please refrain from wearing strong scents such as cologne and perfume out of respect for those with asthma.
Visitation will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 10-11 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edwin’s memory may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Boston, 200 High Street, Suite 3B, Boston, MA 02210 or www.bgcb.org.
