Elaine E. Hudson

Elaine E. (Bowser) Hudson, age 89, passed away at her residence in Stoughton on September 29, 2022. Born in Abington, she was the daughter to the late Ethel Evelyn (Damon) and William Bowser. She was the devoted wife to her late husband Richard Charles Hudson for 56 loving years. She was raised in Weymouth and graduated Weymouth High School, Class of 1950. She also attended Colby Jr. College and graduated in 1952. She was an Accounting Clerk at Service Merchandise company for many years before retiring. She was involved in the Stoughton Quilting Club, and enjoyed sewing, knitting and crafts. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Elaine is survived by her children Glen R. Hudson and his wife Mary of Davenport, FL, Bonnie C. Reckard and her husband Jon of Dunbarton, NH, Donna E. Breen and her husband Rick of Middlefield, MA and Paula D. Egan and her fiancé Tom of East Bridgewater, MA. She was predeceased by her siblings Phyllis Lynne and Robert Bowser. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Wednesday, October 12^th at 10:45AM.
