Elaine M. (Marcheselli) Jackson

Elaine M. (Marcheselli) Jackson, 85, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, died peacefully at Alliance @ The Maples in Wrentham on Thursday, December 22, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Kevin M. Jackson.  Born in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Fiorina (Albertini) Marcheselli.  Elaine was a graduate of Mansfield High School, Class of 1955 and earned an Associate Degree from Boston University.  She was a homemaker.  She was a volunteer at My Brother’s Keeper in Easton for many years.  Elaine was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary’s Parish in Mansfield.  She enjoyed learning the Italian language, cooking and traveling, in particular to Italy but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Elaine is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Gimler and her late husband Robert of Mansfield, Kevin B. Jackson and his wife Kim of Newburyport, Paul J. Jackson of Mansfield and Mark W. Jackson and his wife Tricia of Berwyn, PA.  She was the beloved grandmother of Ryan, Erik and Craig Gimler and Barrett, Olivia, Jocelyn, Katherine, Nicholas, Grace, Hannah, Kevin and Sean Jackson.  She was the sister of Edward Marcheselli and his wife Kathy of North Falmouth and the late Geraldine Abbott.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Parish, 330 Pratt St., Mansfield on Thursday, December 29 at 11 AM.  Visiting hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, December 28 from 4-7 PM.  Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine‘s memory may be made to My Brother’s Keeper, PO Box 338, Easton, MA 02356.
