Eleanor R. (Kaminsky) Gallerani, 79, died peacefully Monday, June 28 2021, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, after a period of declining heath. She was the beloved wife of 57 years of Richard J. Gallerani. Born in Brockton, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and a 1959 graduate of Stoughton High School. She also attended business school. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and also worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Goddard Medical Associates for many years, retiring several years ago. She enjoyed spending time with friends and was a longtime member of a close group of friends know as The Club. Eleanor cherished her friendships, both old and new, and loved being surrounded by her family, friends and neighbors at cookouts, holiday parties and any time friends were gathering.
In addition to her husband, Eleanor is survived by her children, Susan M. Bushlow and her husband Kevin of Raynham, Karen B. Gallagher and her husband Robert of Brockton and Steven M. Gallerani and his wife Stacie of Taunton. She was the grandmother of Ryan and Shaun Bushlow, Ashley Smyth, Amanda Gallagher and Taylor and Timothy Gallerani and the great grandmother of Clodagh and Aoife Smyth. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Glen of SC.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27), Stoughton on Thursday from 9 to 10:30 AM with Funeral Blessings to follow at 10:30 AM. Donations in Eleanor's memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, 02215.
