Elizabeth “Betty” Josephine (Farina) Enos, age 86, passed away peacefully at her residence in Stoughton on September 26, 2024. She was the loving wife of 63 years to the late Alan F. Enos. Born in Weymouth, she was the daughter of the late Alfred T. Farina and Margaret Louise (Gaffney) Farina, and was raised and educated in Braintree, and was a longtime resident of Stoughton. She had various jobs throughout her life, but her most treasured, was at the Weymouth Art Leather, where she met her beloved husband Al. Betty was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1974, and held her faith and beliefs close to her heart. She loved teaching others about her faith and God’s promise of a better future. She enjoyed playing cards, especially “May I?,” watching her favorite movies and shows, and was an amazing cook. Above all, she adored her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Betty is survived by her children Lori LaForge and her husband Scott of Stoughton, Elizabeth “Beth” McIntyre and her husband John of Halifax, and Anthony Enos of Florida, and the late Alana Enos. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She had a close relationship with 3 grandkids in particular, Jessie Camacho and her husband Gary, Andrew Enos and Mya Enos. Betty also leaves behind her brother Alfred T. Farina, Jr. of Norwell and was preceded in death by her brother Frederick Farina, and her half-brother Vincent Farin.
