Elizabeth "Betty" A. (Tucker) Switzer

Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Tucker) Switzer, 85, died Monday, February 14, 2022, at the LifeCare of West Bridgewater, after a long illness. Born in Stoughton, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1955. In 1958, she married Donald L. Switzer and later moved to Easton. Together, they raised four beloved children and shared over 60 years of marriage before Donald's passing in 2019. She was a dedicated homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time at the seashore, in Eastham, Wareham and Pocasset, and also enjoyed sewing. She was an accomplished baker who was famous for her Whoopie Pies. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Betty was the dedicated mother of David L. Switzer of N. Easton, Michael J. Switzer of Mashpee and the late Jane M. Martin and Mark D. Switzer. She was the mother in law of Alice, Judy and Maura Switzer and Gregory Martin. Betty was the sister of the late Mary Connolly, Anne Andrews, Jeanne Eagles, Dorothy Sellars and Virginia St. Germaine. She was the grandmother of 15, great grandmother of 6 and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Easton, at 10 AM.
