Elizabeth Marie (O'Brien) Cataldo

Elizabeth Marie "Betty" Cataldo, 66, a longtime resident of Raynham, died peacefully at home on Monday, November 2, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Paul A. Cataldo. Daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Kerrigan) O'Brien, she was born in Boston and raised in Avon. She was a graduate of Avon High School. Betty lived a fulfilling life as a loving mother, a caring sister, an amazing wife and a friend to many. She enjoyed dancing, laughing and coaching soccer and softball but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed for her infectious smile, sense of humor and big heart and her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone that knew her.

In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her children, Mark Cataldo of Stoughton and Kristin Cataldo and her fiancé Ronnie Smith of Raynham, as well as her grandson, Ryder Smith. She was the twin sister of Patricia Benson of New Bedford and sister of Ellen Hannigan and her husband George of Cummaquid, Daniel O'Brien of West Barnstable, Kathy Higgins and her husband Bill of Holbrook, Karen McCarthy and her husband Steve of Avon and Kevin O'Brien of Yarmouth. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Frances Davies and her husband Fred of Milton, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at Pleasant Street Cemetery, Raynham on Monday, November 9 at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
