It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth G. “Bette” (Hines) Clark of Woburn, MA, announce her passing at age 81, on December 9, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with dementia. Born in Weymouth, she was the daughter to the late Elizabeth (Hines) Clawson and Paul Ewell, and attended Saint Columbkille High School. She was the beloved wife to the late William Clark, Sr. She was employed at the Brockton VA before retiring in 2000. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, roller skating, reading, crocheting, doing puzzles and playing bingo, and loved going to the casino and on trips to St. Martin.

Bette is survived by her children Robert Edward Shea of Woburn, Patricia Ann Hemmerdinger and her husband Jeffrey of Manchester, NH and Timothy Edward Shea of Bedford, NH, as well as her stepchildren, Robin Chase, and her husband Bradford A. Chase, Jr. of Carver, Geniene Elliot and her partner Andrew T. Halpin III of Middleboro and William E. Clark Jr. and his partner MaryAnn of Orange. She is also survived by her siblings Thomas, Joan Katherine, Elizabeth (Betsy) and Jane, and leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 16th at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton at 10AM.
