Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Mariano) McIntyre, 89, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston on Sunday, March 30, 2026. She was the wife of the late William R. McIntyre. She was born in Boston, son of the late Ralph and Leola (Douglas) Mariano. She was educated in Boston schools. After getting married, Betty and Bill moved to Stoughton to raise their family and she resided there for over 50 years. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and an occasional trip to the casino, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Betty was the mother of William P. McIntyre of Easton and the late Sean P. McIntyre. She was the grandmother of Madison L. McIntyre. She was the sister of the late Patricia Nobles, Peter Mariano, June Cabana, and Linda MacLean and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, April 6 from 10-11 AM followed by a Funeral Prayers at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
