Elizabeth M. (Long) McLeish

Long-time Dedham resident, Elizabeth McLeish, also known amongst friends and family as Betty-Lou, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Friday morning, April 3, 2020. She was the wife of the late, great Robert "Brud" McLeish, he, too, a long-time Dedham resident.

Elizabeth was the daughter of Dominic and Elizabeth Long of Westwood, sister of Janet Kenyon of Billerica, the late Edythe Mitchell of Ohio, and the late Grace Williams of Norwood. She is survived by her daughter Davina McLeish of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, her son Tony McLeish and his wife Julie McLeish of Dedham, and her second son Thomas "Mike" McLeish and his wife Patty of Norfolk. Elizabeth was also a grandmother of nine to Madelyn McLeish, Kate McLeish, Finn McLeish, Thomas McLeish, and Annie McLeish, as well as to Emma Feloni, Alexandra Feloni, Avery Feloni, and Michael Feloni. She had a wide group of great friends in her life and is survived by many.

Services will be held in private by the McLeish family. In lieu of flowers or other condolences being sent to Elizabeth's home, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Community Care, 90 Wells Avenue, Newton, MA 02459 as per the request of her children and their families.
