Elizabeth A. Scherer

Elizabeth A. Scherer, 82, a resident of Hanover, died peacefully at Colony Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Abington on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Daughter of the late Joseph and Henrietta (Grey) Scherer, she was born and raised in Boston. She was a longtime resident of Braintree before moving to Hanover 5 years ago. Elizabeth was a page operator at New England Medical Center in Boston for many years. She enjoyed ceramics and was a ceramics teacher in Quincy and Braintree.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Thomas J. Lazaron of Sedro Wooley, Washington, Keith J. Lazaron of Foxboro, Dennis J. Lazaron of Raynham, Gary L. Lazaron of Maxwell, Texas, Tracy J. Lazaron-Milone of Weymouth, James M. Lazaron of Bridgewater and John L. Lazaron of New Hampshire. She was the sister of William Scherer of Medway, John Scherer of Holliston and the late Joseph Scherer and Kathleen Dodds. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
