Enes E. (Campedelli) Taglieri, 95, a loving wife and a mother of five daughters, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Port Healthcare Center in Newburyport, MA on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
Enes was born on December 30, 1924 in Roxbury, MA to Cecilia (Pederzolli) and Luigi Campedelli, who had immigrated from Pannone, Italy. After graduating from Roxbury Memorial High School, she worked as a homemaker, bookkeeper, secretary and aide at Trinity Nursery School. Upon his return from World War II, she married Michele Taglieri on February 22, 1946 and they were married for 69 years. Together, they raised five daughters in Stoughton, MA.
Enes was an avid book reader, gardener, and excelled in Italian cooking. Her love for the arts of sewing and knitting were passed down to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her women's golf and Canasta groups.
Enes is survived by her daughters, Mary C. Taglieri of Florida, Joan C. Taglieri and her partner Josephine O'Brien of Newburyport, Ann L. Reardon and her husband Christopher of Brockton, Paula J. Connolly and her partner Robert Humphreys of Swansea, and Claire M. LaPorte and her husband Kevin of Easton. She is the grandmother of Stacy, Scott, Courtney, Kevin Jr., Nicole, Michael, and Jenna; and she is the great-grandmother of Aylin, Kensington, and K.J. She is survived by her siblings John Campedelli, Joseph Campedelli, William Campedelli, Frank Campedelli and the late Angie Savage, nieces, and nephews.
