Erik A. Johnson

Erik A. Johnson age 63 of Sharon, formerly of Stoughton, died peacefully on November 2, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brockton, he was the son to the late Astrid E. (Smith) and Martin W. Johnson, and was a longtime resident of Sharon. He graduated Stoughton High School (Class of 1977) and then went on to proudly serve in the United States Marine Corps.

Erik was a devout Christian, a beloved brother, uncle and friend who will be sorely missed by all. He is survived by his sisters Karen Pearson and her husband John Richard “Dick” of Bridgewater, Heidi Johnson of Stoughton and Marta Doherty and her husband Bernard of Plymouth, as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends, whom Erik loved dearly.

Visiting hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27) Stoughton, on Thursday, November 17th from 5-7PM. A Funeral Service will be held the next day, Friday November 18th at 10AM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 900 Main Street, Brockton. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Military Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30PM In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Erik’s name to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 801 18th Street NW, Washington D.C. 20006-3517 or at http://pva.org or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
