Francis Leo Driscoll, Jr., 80, a resident of Mansfield, died peacefully at home on Thursday, May 14, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of over 56 years of Kathryn M. (Conway) Driscoll. Born in Boston, son of the late Francis L. and Margaret L. (Ryan) Driscoll, Frank was raised in Hyde Park and was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Jamaica Plain, Class of 1963.

Frank was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving with the Navy Seabees and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He served for over 3 years, being honorably discharged in February of 1972 with the rank of Construction Electrician Petty Officer 3rd Class. He resided in Randolph for 29 years before moving to Stoughton in 2000, where he resided until moving to Mansfield 3 years ago. Frank worked as an electrician and was a member of the Local 103 IBEW in Boston for 40 years before retiring in 2003.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children, Francis L. Driscoll III and his wife Denise of Halifax, Kathryn A. Fraone and her husband Michael of Mansfield, Sean D. Driscoll and his wife Lenia of Bridgewater and Janet M. Copani and her husband Michael of Byron, NY. He was the brother of Margaret Maher of Raynham, Janet Potts of Mendon, Mary Vinson of Concord, NH, Patricia Gleason of Chichester, NH and Ann Driscoll of Concord, NH. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, May 22 from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St., Mansfield on Saturday, May 23 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Francis‘ memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org.
