Frank A. Monterio, 45, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 30 at his home in Stoughton. Born in Dorchester, son of the late Charlene Monterio and George Douglas, he was raised and educated in Brockton, and was a graduate of Brockton High School. Mr. Monterio was a resident of Stoughton for several years. He worked in the construction field. He was a dedicated son, beloved father and loving cousin and uncle. In his free time, he enjoyed playing spades, music and he loved spending time with his children and family.
Frank is survived by his children; Frank A. "Woogie" Monterio of TN, Andrea C. Monteiro of Brockton, Elycia A. Monteiro of Braintree. He was the grandfather of Asaiah Montrond and the brother of Nannette Monterio of Fall River, Michele R. "Coco" Monterio-Haron of Dorchester and Nicolas Dore' of Attleboro. He is also survived by several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, October 8, 2020, from 4-7 PM. Funeral Services will be private.
